After finishing in the top twelve in the main race, Ahris and Richard totally dominated the Elf Dash, finishing first and second.

Exceeding Expectations won the trophy for the largest team at the event; nearly 50 EE team members.

Ricardo, Arian, Ahris and Richard placed 7th, 8th, 10th and 12th overall, out of 600 racers!

Nik's fiancé Ashley attended in his place to receive a brand new award -- the "Full Circle" award -- for an EE kid who comes back as a successful adult to be a coach, mentor and role model .

Jose (left) and Karen (right) won the Coach's Award for outstanding effort even if it didn't result in podium finishes. Aramiz and Fernando (middle) are our two youngest team members.

Ana Campo receives a scholarship check from Molly Thorpe, in memory of Molly's mother, Goldie. Molly and husband Jay have committed to helping Ana through her college years.

John accepts a scholarship from our good friends John and Lizzie Brenkus. The Brenkus family supported Marlene through her college years and are doing the same for John.

John also received a scholarship from the McFarland Family Foundation. The McFarlands also helped Marlene through her college years and are now helping John.

Nancy Alvarez received a scholarship from our friend David Martin, in memory of his partner, Steven.

160-Blazeman

Moses and Andrew are the 2018 recipients of the Blazeman Scholarship, honoring the memory of the "poet warrior" Jon Blais, the only person to finish an IRONMAN after being diagnosed with ALS. The scholarships are awarded by Jon's parent, Bob and Mary Ann.

Cherie holds up a check from our wonderful sponsor, Boingo. to be used in furtherance of higher education for all the EE kids.
